Roberto Fabbri
He has an extremely active career as a fine performer, composer,teacher and writer. He studied under the guidance of Carlo Carfagna at the Conservatory of "Santa Cecilia" where he graduated in 1986 with full honors; subsequently he achieved the diploma of bachelor in music with 110 and praise. Then he took the II level diploma at the Conservatory of "Santa Cecilia", with a study on Rossiniane by Mauro Giuliani, with the highest grades.
He has developed his musical career as a soloist, and with the famous Roberto Fabbri Guitar Quartet .
Mr. Fabbri is regularly invited to perform ad take Master Class in chargemany international guitarfestivals and to judge at international competitions around the world.
Besides his work as a performer, Roberto Fabbri has written numerous compositions for guitar.
He is the headmaster and teacher of classical guitar at the Academy "Novamusica e Arte" in Rome.
At present he teaches classical guitar at Conservatory "O. Respighi" in Latina and at the Institute of High Artistic and Musical Formation "Giulio Briccialdi" in Terni.
As an organiser, he is the artistic director of Festival Chitarristico Internazionale Città di Fiuggi.
He also contributed to the magazine "Chitarre", as the editor in charge of the classical section of the magazine from 1986 to 2010.
Roberto Fabbri has carried out an intense didactic and editorial activity, cooperating with different publishing houses (Anthropos, Berben, Playgame, EMR, Warner Bros, Carisch).
